Tomorrow always comes.
This is the journal (blog?) of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. Um... enjoy?

This Tumblr and Jan’s (here) are no longer a part of Avengers-RP. They will probably become inactive in short order.
Thank you to those of you who played with Steve and Jan and made this an enjoyable experience while it lasted. I appreciate your time. You’re awesome people. I can’t say I love the way this went down, because I don’t and I’ll admit some bitterness here, but I did enjoy playing with you guys.
If you’d like to reach me personally, my personal Tumblr can be found here.
Thanks again to the players. Ciao.
[shakes his head]
You should smile bigger, Steve Rogers. You have quite the wonderful smile, and Midgard should see more of it. [leaning in, and playfully extending the corners of his mouth gently, before pulling her fingers back]
[laughs] I’ll do my best, since you say so. And um, thanks. [grins a little]
I do say so. And in Asgard, men are not able to resist the charms of the Valkyrior, and I endeavor to make it the same on Earth. [winking] And you are most welcome!
Well, I don’t think I’ll be the first to resist, then. [grins]

[smiles, a little bit sheepishly] Definitely not a problem. I look forward to seeing you, too.

ooc: Oh, cool. :3 lol I’m nerdy, too. I love The Sims. But I don’t really do MMORPGs; I’m way more into games like Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. :D And Fable III. And Bioshock omg. [/fangirling] I’m the kind of person who has to feel like they’re accomplishing something XD (Like character, like player? lol)
ooc: OH. MY. THOR. i love ALL THOSE GAMES. i just nerded out, big time. i only like the sims because i’m a control freak. i usually just cheat and make money and then decorate a house and the sim and just.. stop playing. BUT i just finished my fourth run of fable III and i saved EVERYONE. i own all the fables. and bioshock. i agree with you, i like the tasks/quests.
ooc: Ee :D lol I do the same thing with The Sims tbh. I love it but I mostly use it for design and creation stuff. XD Oh, that is awesome! I haven’t played through Fable III yet, since I just got it (traded my bff for my copy of Saints Row 2, lol). But I’ve clocked probably more than 40 hours on my main Fallout 3 game, and I’m still going strong with it. I just got Bioshock and omg. omg. I love this game. I’m a huge fan of survival horror, and mix that with political/social commentary and I am so there it’s not even funny. [/I think my PoliSci classes are showing again] I am going to play it again tomorroooow- my bff is coming up again and I will play it with her because, okay, I don’t want to play it alone and her reactions are priceless. XD
I will admit, I get a little overzealous with the multiple saves though, especially in the Fallout games. I have um. Something like three Fallout 3 games and the same number of Fallout New Vegas. In my defense… one of them is totes girl!Steve (3), another is girl!Loki (New Vegas), and there are a few other fandom ones. I think I have Parker from Leverage on my bff’s system. XD

chooseroftheslain said: ooc: yeah, i feel you. it’s like NYC is home to small businesses and not big ones. but yeah, maybe radio shack would have it. i haven’t used my microphone on this thing since i played (cringe) second life, LOL.
ooc: It totally is. Which I love, don’t get me wrong, but if you don’t know where to look, it can be hard to find things. Well, I know I could find stuff around Midtown, but I hate don’t like to go down there if I don’t have to, lol. So I’ll try Radio Shack, or worst case, the Best Buy near my school, or Amazon. :P Aw, lol. I’ve never played that, but my aunt has a friend who did xD I only ever used my mic for song recording, but it was craaap, which explains why I let it get lost during my last move two years ago, lol!
chooseroftheslain said: ooc: ouch. well, amazon it is then! LOL. and yeah, target isn’t as good with tech stuff as wal-mart is, i’ve found. if you want brand names, target. but if you want the cheaper alt, wal-mart.
ooc: Yeah, lol. I don’t like Wal-Mart, but they’re definitely less expensive. Target isn’t bad, but I’d never buy anything complicated and electronic from them. ..okay, I barely buy anything but towels and such from them, but that’s beside the point. ;P Maybe I’ll check out Radio Shack the next time I’m up by Target, though, there’s one in the same strip of stores. It’s weird how NYC is so huge and has so much stuff but it can be so hard to find things here. xD
